The Wednesday, Oct. 9 Cash4Life drawing will be a life-altering for one area resident who purchased the winning ticket at 7-Eleven in at 18120 Georgia Ave. in Olney, matching the first five balls to secure the second-tier prize.
Winning numbers for the Oct. 9 drawing: 07-12-21-44-47 with a Cash Ball of 03.
If the winner had hit the Cash Ball they would have been eligible for the top prize: $1,000 a day for life. They now have up to 182 days to claim their prize.
With the winning ticket secured, the winner will now have the option of a $1,000-a-week-for-life annuity paid in annual installments of $52,000 a year, or a one-time payment of $1 million (all before taxes).
